Email Router Error

We are suddenly experiencing emails that fail from workflow.  Checked the user record and System Administrator is set to use Email Router outbound, email router test for System Administrator suceeds.  Event log shows the following:

#26234 - The E-mail Router service could not process a provider work item using assembly: Microsoft.Crm.Tools.EmailProviders.dll and class: Microsoft.Crm.Tools.Email.Providers.SmtpPollingSendEmailProvider. System.Configuration.ConfigurationErrorsException: The organization name in the URL is not valid. To determine the organization name, start the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Web application as a user who has the System Customizer role. Click Settings, and then click Customizations. On the Customizations page, click Developer Resources. The organization name is displayed next to the "Organization Unique Name" label.

Any ideas on what could be causing the issue?
