Guidance and Advice

I have been toying with a dev server and CRM2011 to investigate if CRM2011 would work internally with our business modal. On face value it will, however after reading different threads and articles, I have a vauge grasp on the power of CRM and what we should be able to do with it.

If my take on it is correct, I am assuming that we can have a front end web site for our clients to access and an different website for company use, all under the CRM umbrella.

I currently have a new Windows 2008 R2 server which will run and support up to 6 Windows 2008R2 virtual servers. What I am looking to do is set up a virtual server running SQL2012.

Articles I have read, suggest a server for crm2011, one for sharepoint 2013 and one for ADFS server. These three servers would be for development, but I would also like to run live servers on the main box as well.

Can anyone suggest a good tutorial that steps through the setting up of the CRM and share point for claims based authentication, and what I need to do to 'replicate'  a site that our clients would be able to log into, and how to set clients up with user name passwords and security to allow them to access the information.

THIS is only development, but I also need to know how when we have developed to a certian stage, post / publish to a replication of the setup running live servers?

Both myself and my programmers are aware that there are many hours of development ahead, but we need to ensure that the initial framework is set up correctly at the start .

thank you for any help and guidance
